Ministry for the Penitentiary Service and security forces intervene Tocuyito

As part of the instructions issued by the president, Nicolás Maduro Moros, to preserve peace, the Tocuyito Penitentiary Complex in Carabobo was intervened.

The activity was led by the Minister of People's Power for the Penitentiary Service, Julio García Zerpa and was supported by State security agencies and was announced through a post on the Ministry's Instagram account.

The publication highlights that “these actions have been carried out in a coordinated manner in recent days, in different prison facilities nationwide, thus reaffirming the commitment to Venezuelan peace and democracy, as well as to President Nicolás Maduro, the Laws and strict compliance with the New Penitentiary Regime.”
