Ministry of Health begins the 2025 Immunization Campaign this Sunday

The Ministry of Popular Power for Health reported that from next Sunday, April 27 to May 04, Venezuela joins in a great day of health with the “Bolivarian Immunization Celebration 2025”.

The primary objective of this initiative is to immunize the most vulnerable population in the country, including boys and girls under 6 years of age, as well as those of 10 years of school age, pregnant women and the indigenous population, according to the ministerial body in its account on the social network Instagram.

The activity will be carried out within the framework of the Comprehensive Health Vaccination Intensification Plan, which covers the entire national territory and has 10 thousand 147 vaccinators nationwide for the deployment and formation of brigades, and 5 thousand 400 vaccination posts are available.

It points out that through the Expanded Immunization Program (PAI), it is guaranteed that the community has access to essential vaccines as established on the control cards. Among the vaccines that will be available are: BCG, Hepatitis B, Polio IPV, Oral Polio, Pentavalent Viral, Yellow Fever, Measles and Toxoid.

Vaccination points have been established in strategic places such as Public Squares, educational institutions, Comprehensive Diagnostic Centers (CDI), outpatient clinics, Popular Clinics (CP) and the border of Venezuelan territory, thus facilitating access to all citizens.
