Approximately 240 people were treated during a medical day held this Tuesday in the Josefa Camejo commune, in the parish of Santa Teresa del Tuy, in the Independencia municipality of Miranda state.
The deployment was carried out together with the La Cruz Comprehensive Community Health Area (Asic) and included general medicine services, evaluation of bedridden patients, registration of vulnerable cases and delivery of medications for chronic diseases.
In addition, 62 vaccines from the National Immunization Scheme were applied to children and adolescents, thus ensuring the prevention of diseases.
This activity was carried out in all the communities of the Independencia municipality, under the guidance of President Nicolás Maduro and the Governor of Miranda, Héctor Rodríguez, for the social protection of the people.
