The governor of the state of Miranda, Héctor Rodríguez, inaugurated an artificial grass soccer field in the Barloventeño axis, according to information issued by his office.
This is the Virgen de Las Mercedes Soccer Field, located in Rio Chico, Páez municipality, which will benefit 250 children and young people from six soccer schools.
“This is the eighth court we inaugurated, we have two in Valles del Tuy, one in Yare and one in Independencia; two in the Metropolitan Area, one in Mariche and one in Mesuca; two in Guarenas and Guatire, and we have one in Higuerote. The eighth is that of Rio Chico. We already have the ones in Cúa ready and another one in Higuerote. We are going to make a court in all the municipalities of the state,” the regional president ratified.
“Our plan is to do the Miranda League by subregion, and the winners will go to a shorter championship. Everything will be accompanied by the coaching school that will start next week. All this will strengthen the massification of football and the formation of better players,” he said.
He also highlighted that the construction of sports spaces brings children closer to the promotion of values and discipline.
