Miranda Governorate serves the population of the Acevedo municipality during a health day

A total of 128 people received comprehensive and free surgical medical care in the Acevedo municipality of Miranda state, as part of a weekend event.
A group of 76 local residents and more than 52 patients from various parishes in the Barlovento axis were treated at the Dr. Hermógenes Rivero Saldivia General Hospital in Caucagua, as part of the Acevedo Life and Health Plan program, according to a local press release.
The mayor of Acevedo, José Miguel Oliveros, explained that the assistance included a 100% free scheme that included pre-operative exams, transfer to the hospital and the full delivery of post-surgical treatment. The care was completely free thanks to the coordination between the national Government, the Government of Miranda and the Acevedo mayor's office.
