Miranda Legislative Council elected Board of Directors for the period 2026-2027

The Legislative Council of Miranda State (CLEBM), in regular session, installed the legislative term and elected the board of directors for the year 2026, in accordance with the laws and regulations that govern the matter.
The board of directors of this parliamentary body was formed by Gustavo Prieto, in the presidency; Carmen Siberio, as vice-president; Ismael Cedre and Mariangel Rodríguez, in the general secretariat and Gilbert Pérez, as head of the faction.
When taking the oath of office before the State Constitution and spokespersons for various social sectors in the region, Gustavo Prieto, re-elected as president of the CLEBM, expressed his commitment to defending peace and freedom.
“I swear by our ancestors that they gave me freedom, for my life, for Nicolás Maduro and Cilia Flores, who are now kidnapped,” he stressed while renewing his willingness to serve the Mirandinos.
Carmen Siberio, also re-elected vice-president of the regional parliament, took office with the commitment to “continue working for a free, sovereign and socialistic Venezuela.”
He also swore an oath for the Fatherland, for the men who offered their lives in its defense, the women and men in Miranda who wake up every day to work so that their children grow up in a free country. “I swear on Chavez,” he said.
