Miranda Performing Arts Festival has 800 entries

During the first stage of the third Community Performing Arts Festival 2025 in Miranda state, around 300 communes have submitted 800 artistic proposals, said the entity's Secretary of Culture, Gabriela Simoza, who noted that the talents who formalized their participation are prepared in 50 workshops ranging from talks to masterclasses.

In this regard, he added that these training activities will take place until October 28, in the various municipalities of the state of Miranda, focused on strengthening local artistic talent and strengthening the culture of communities.

He also explained that the communal presentation will take place from October 31 to November 12, where all those registered will present their scenic proposals to give way to this festival of the arts in the region.

On the other hand, he indicated that November 14 and 15 will be the municipal phase; while the state phase will take place on November 20, where the final groups will be presented.

Simoza highlighted that the festival has been conceived as a community art school, aimed at sensitizing communities to the artistic fact and providing tools for socio-cultural promotion and the planting of awareness and values.

In addition to artistic training, the festival has promoted ecological awareness, which also promotes the circular economy and demonstrates how community contributions are transformed into art.

This effort is part of the Seven Transformations promoted by the national Government to strengthen the cultural and social identity of the state.
