Misión Nevado and Guardia del Pueblo come together to care for pets in Aragua

Through an inter-institutional alliance, the Nevado Aragua Mission and the National People's Guard, provided free comprehensive care to 170 companion animals in the El Sol Nace por el Essequibo Commune.

The Nevado Mission, hand in hand with animal health teams and the National People's Guard, deployed a health operation that defies traditional state statistics, favoring community specimens and pets with homes.

During the day, pets benefited from full provision of medical services, rabies vaccination and deworming, application of vitamins and delivery of treatments for various diseases, nail cutting, ear cleaning and wound healing, surgery and sterilization, the fundamental pillar to avoid abandonment.
