The Nevado Mission in Cojedes state inaugurated this Friday, June 12, two new and modern veterinary centers, one in Tinaquillo and the other in San Carlos, totaling four offices with the objective of caring for pets and providing totally free health services in this rural entity.

The veterinary center of the Tinaquillo municipality is located on Ricaurte Avenue between Socorro y Silva Street, next to the municipal house of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), and in the municipality of the capital of Cojedeña, the office is located in the Ezequiel Zamora Housing Complex, between zone 09 and 10, next to the Infocentro, reported the Última Noticias portal.

After the inauguration in San Carlos, a massive day was held in which more than 100 household pets were treated, as well as community animals from various areas of this populous housing complex, with general consultations, rabies vaccination, deworming, nail cutting, ear cleaning, and in the coming days the operating room will be available for sterilizations and surgeries.

The regional coordination coordinator of the Nevado Mission in Cojedes, Juan Mejías, reported that they treat an average of 200 to 300 animals per week, and that during the week they hold comprehensive veterinary care days together with the Missions and Great Missions System.

“We go beyond clinics, we go to communities to look for animals that need support,” he said.
