Misión Nevado promotes animal welfare in the Costa de Oro municipality of Aragua

In an inter-institutional coordination aimed at the protection of domestic fauna, the state coordination of the Nevado Mission and the mayor's office of the Ocumare municipality of the Gold Coast of Aragua deployed a training and citizen consultation day focused on the welfare of companion animals.

The activity, carried out on the Aragüan coast, combined pedagogical awareness with community participation to collect proposals that will nourish the Decent Treatment Bill , details the institution's press release.

The meeting was supported by Mayor Wilmer Leal, and the coordination of the municipal liaison of the Management Unit , together with the Aragüeño Animal Welfare System (SABA). The day was also accompanied by the Bolivarian Police of Aragua, the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) and the Comprehensive Defense Operational Zone (ZODI Aragua), consolidating a common front between security forces, the public authorities and independent foundations dedicated to the defense of animal rights.

According to information provided by Francisco Mijares, coordinator of the Nevado Mission in Aragua, a workshop was held at the event on the importance of the Bolivarian Government's role in the protection of companion animals and the importance of the work of the Nevado Mission.
