The Monagas state closed its participation in the International Tourism Business Roundtable 2025, held in Caracas, with the certification of four new tourist routes from the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism (MINTUR).

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, with these additions, the entity has a total of 49 routes requested by municipalities, the private sector and organized communities, to consolidate its position as an integral tourist destination.

The Single Tourism Authority in Monagas, Rosy Salazar, highlighted that the event was an invaluable opportunity to promote the natural wonders of the state's 13 municipalities, as well as their growing productive potential.

“It was an international showcase to show the progress of Governor Ernesto Luna's tourism management, who positions Monagas as a region that has everything,” he said.

The tourist routes validated by MINTUR during the activity are: Along the Humboldt Roads in Caripe and Piar, three-phase Caracol in Acosta, A Journey Through Geological Time and the Dazzling Biodiversity of Piar and Historical Uracoa, all designed to highlight the region's natural, cultural and historical wealth.

During the business conference, the Monagas stand attracted the attention of more than 200 global tourism companies, who witnessed Venezuela's natural potential and biodiversity.
