Monagas beach volleyball teams go to quarterfinals at National Games

With a double victory in the group stage, the men's and women's beach volleyball teams from Monagas state went to the quarterfinals at the 2024 Eastern National Games.

Through its account on the social network Instagram, the Government of Monagas explained that “Elvismar Accent and Scarlet Álvarez beat Miranda 2-0 and remained the leaders of group C, while José Hernández and Gabriel Venales scored 2-0 for the Guiana Essequiba team to pass second in group A.”

The semifinalist teams will be defined this Friday, and then we will know the pairs that will play for gold on Sunday.

On November 6, the swimming, Creole ball, fencing and taekwondo teams that will represent Monagas at the Eastern 2024 National Games, to be held in Sucre and Anzoátegui, left for their competition sites, after receiving their presentation and competition uniforms.
