Monagas Futsal champion of the 2025 Apertura Tournament

Monagas Futsal Club won the FUTVE Futsal League 1 Apertura championship, as planned after the abrupt situation caused by the second team to play in the final, which culminated in their retirement from the match.

On July 28th, the Board of Directors of Centauros de Caracas made the decision not to participate in the final match of the champion of the competition, presumably to preserve and safeguard the morale of their squad, after a controversial play in the first leg that culminated in a goal unjustifiably canceled by the main referee of the match.

After this situation and after an exhaustive review process, the resolution was reached that there were no indications for the resumption of the commitment and therefore, Monagas Futsal took the lead.

“We congratulate Monagas Futsal Club for this achievement and thank all the clubs, players, coaches and fans who were part of this exciting edition of the 2025 Apertura Tournament.”

“We are already preparing for the start of the Clausura Tournament, where we will continue to write the history of Professional Futsal in Venezuela.” It was part of the League's official statement.
