More than 2,000 motorcyclists from the state of Monagas carried out a massive caravan to express their firm support for national sovereignty and demand the immediate release of the constitutional president of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, and the First Combatant, Cilia Flores.

The mobilization, convened in defense of peace and self-determination of the Venezuelan people, toured the main streets and avenues of Maturín, starting in Plaza Generalísimo Francisco de Miranda and culminating in the roundabout of the Universidad de Oriente, in a clear demonstration of civic unity and commitment to the Bolivarian Revolution.

‎Esta popular action takes place in response to the serious events that occurred in the early morning of January 3, when the United States (USA) carried out an attack on Venezuelan territory, which resulted in the kidnapping of President Maduro and his wife, in addition to causing more than 100 civilian and military deaths, a significant number of injuries and millions of dollars in material damage.

‎Durante the rally, the representatives of the seven guilds of “Steel Horses” from Monagua transmitted a unanimous and strong message that the motorized force is on the streets to defend the Fatherland and the Head of State.

Diana Giraldo, a member of the Steel Horses and Steel Amazons union, said that the motorized community provides strong support to President Maduro.

“We are in the streets of Monagas to defend our constitutional president, legitimately elected by the people, Nicolás Maduro. We demand that the U.S. government cease its aggression and proceed with the immediate and unconditional release of Commander Maduro and the First Fighter, Cilia Flores. We remain firm and determined to defend the Homeland that saw us born,” he said.
