Monagas SC will seek to make history against Cerro Porteño in Maturín

Monagas SC, representing Venezuela, will seek a historic victory against Cerro Porteño, in the match for phase 2 of the Conmebol Libertadores Cup.

The match will be played today at the Monumental Stadium in Maturín at 6 in the afternoon.

In phase 1, Monagas left the Uruguayan team Defensor Sporting on the road after winning the back and forth.

In phase 2, those led by Jhonny Ferreira will have the titanic task of dominating the club known as the “Cyclone” founded 112 years ago.
