More than 10,000 military and police personnel remain deployed in Sucre

More than 10,000 officials from the various State security forces were deployed in the state of Sucre with the objective of guaranteeing peace and tranquility in the region, said the governor of the eastern entity, Gilberto Pinto.

“People of the state of Sucre, today we want to give a happy start and return to academic activities and with this express the happiness and satisfaction that comes with having had an excellent Christmas holiday. More than 10,000 men and women who make up the security force are deployed for stability, tranquility, peace, security, territorial defense and the guarantee of citizen rights,” said the governor during the deployment.

In this regard, according to the newspaper Última Noticias, he urged citizen security forces to strengthen patrols and deployments throughout the 15 municipalities that make up the Sucrense territory, to strengthen order and stability for the protection and welfare of the population.

“You are part of the security of the nation and the responsibility for defense is one of the commitments of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) that we must assume with gallantry and courage to continue preserving the country's sovereignty, the one that the heroes of the country conquered and which President Nicolás Maduro continues to consolidate with efforts,” said the regional president.
