More than 10,000 older adults rally for the release of President Maduro and the first lady

Minister Viña indicated that, in communities, older people's circles will continue to promote the drafting of letters addressed to the head of state and promote spaces for exchange between generations

The Minister for the Elderly and Grandparents of the Homeland, Magaly Viña, reported that more than 10,000 older adults from Aragua, Carabobo, Miranda, La Guaira and Caracas met in Los Caobos Park during the Song for Peace and Liberation day, in support of President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores.

“We have faith in God, in our president in charge and in the Venezuelan people. We know that soon President Nicolás Maduro and the first female fighter Cilia Flores will return,” he said.

The minister indicated that, in communities, circles of older people will continue to promote the drafting of letters addressed to the Head of State and promote spaces for exchange between generations.

He explained that these activities will be carried out in communities with the participation of children, young people and the elderly, in order to reinforce communication and collective memory.
