The sector vice-president of Public Works and Services, Jorge Márquez, oversaw the construction of the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Highway (GMA) in the state of Anzoátegui.

Márquez highlighted that this project was promoted by President Nicolás Maduro and supported by the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez, and is due to be delivered in June of this year.

‎De according to the publication of Venezolana de Televisión, the project involves the intervention of 11.3 kilometers of road in the strategic Píritu-Pachaquito stretch, where 13,800 tons of asphalt have been applied to date.

‎ “This work is made with Venezuelan hands. No one is going to come here from outside to fix the country for us, we have to fix this with our workers,” Márquez emphasized.
