The first edition of the Yaracuy Film Festival: Cinema and Mountain is progressing with a wide participation of national filmmakers, who have submitted more than 20 audiovisual works in the fiction and documentary categories.
The event, scheduled from November 21 to 23, will have multiple rooms equipped for the screening of short films that exceed 30 minutes in length, as reported by the sole cultural authority of the state of Yaracuy, Juan Manuel Parada.
“The public will be able to enjoy productions that reflect regional identity, with narrative approaches that range from the historical to the environmental. The program will include works by emerging and established filmmakers, in formats that strengthen the link between image and territory,” he said.
Registrations are made through the official Instagram profile of the Yaracuy Film Festival: Cinema and Mountain, where the link for registering participants is available. The digital platform provides access to filmmakers from all over the country interested in being part of this cultural initiative.
It should be noted that the reception of works ends on October 25, which seeks to consolidate interest in making visible cinematographic expressions linked to the territory.
