More than 210 parts and pieces of war weapons from the United States were seized by security forces

A total of 218 parts and
pieces of weapons of war, coming from the United States,
were seized by officials of the various State security forces.
The information was
released by the Sectorial Vice President for Citizen Security and
Peace, AJ. Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, who at a press conference explained that thanks
to investigations carried out by members of the Scientific, Criminal and
Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC), these weapons were intended to “assassinate Venezuelans and generate chaos in the country”.
He also reported “
the confiscation of 1,843 ammunition, a revolver, van and
water vehicles, as well as an aircraft, used for the purpose of destroying and generating chaos in the Venezuelan people.”
With regard to the responsibilities
for this event, it was attributed to son Argenis José Mavares Alcalá,
former official of the CICPC, and Leonardo Attilio Micaletti
Hernández, a former pilot, who were captured by members of the
Scientific Police after investigative work in Avenida Sur 4, Santa Teresa parish, Quinta Crespo, Caracas.
