A total of 226,000 doses of yellow fever vaccines arrived in the country thanks to the strategic alliance between Venezuela and the Russian Federation, said Gabriela Jiménez, the sector vice-president of Science, Technology, Ecosocialism and Health.
Through a message released on her Telegram channel, the Minister of Science and Technology also assured that these vaccines will strengthen the Expanded Immunization Program carried out by the Revolutionary Government in the country.
“This important achievement protects health, reinforcing our capacities to prevent endemic diseases and ensuring collective well-being,” he said.
In this regard, he stressed that, despite the coercive measures imposed by the United States (USA), the Bolivarian Government continues to work to guarantee attention to the people.
“Strategic alliances with sister countries continue to yield concrete fruits that translate into protection for all,” he emphasized.
