More than 2,800 Trujillanos benefited from a vaccination day

Over the past weekend, the “National Immunization Festival” was held in the state of Trujillo, where 3,785 doses of different biologics were applied in 270 vaccination posts distributed throughout the region.

According to a press release from the Health portfolio, the state coordinator of the Expanded Immunization Program (PAI), Berenice Marín, reported that this initiative benefited 2,844 people from various age groups.

In addition, he added that the attendees included children aged 2 months to 5 years, schoolchildren, pregnant women and older adults, both at vaccination points and through house-to-house visits.

Marín highlighted that among the biologics applied are BCG, Pentavalent, Polio IPV, SRP, yellow fever and tetanus diphtheria toxoid.
