More than 3 million Venezuelans were treated for recreational days during Holy Week

A total of 3 million 116 thousand 930 young children, adults and older adults were treated, during the Easter holidays, by the Integral Recreation Network (REIR) to ensure their healthy recreation, social peace and coexistence, said the sectoral vice-president for Social and Territorial Socialism, Héctor Rodríguez.

Through a publication on his Telegram channel, he pointed out that this body, created by the National Government, carried out more than 56,000 recreational and sports activities throughout the country during the holidays, with the support of 3,500 recreational and more than 10,000 volunteers.

“Recreation must become a systematic and permanent policy in all communities of the country, so that it is part of the daily life of Venezuelans,” he said.

In the same way, he emphasized that during the last 11 weeks of 2026, the Executive, through the different levels of government, has carried out 3,455 days of social protection in 2,474 communes and communal circuits in the country.
