More than 300 parliamentarians from 70 countries around the world have confirmed their participation in the World Anti-Fascist Parliamentary Forum to be held in Caracas on November 4 and 5, said the first vice-president of the National Assembly, Deputy Pedro Infante.

During an interview with Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Infante specified that the forum derives from the World Congress against Fascism, Neofascism and Similar Expressions, and will be installed in the Convention Center in the Bolivar Park of La Carlota.

In this regard, he stressed that the motto of the parliamentary forum is Humanity or Fascism and highlighted the importance of parliaments in the defense of humanity against fascism.

In addition, as reported by the newspaper Úlmas Noticias, he highlighted that among the issues to be discussed in the aforementioned forum are parliamentary democracy of peace, the relationship between imperialism, fascism and Zionism, and also about the blockades and coercive measures imposed on several countries, with more than 30 nations that are in blockade.

“We are proposing the creation of the anti-fascist parliamentary network, which is part of the anti-fascist international, but we are also proposing that this should have one organization per continent and that each country has a kind of anti-fascist parliamentary caucus, it must exist in every Congress on the planet,” he emphasized.
