More than 40 women treated during a preventive day against breast cancer in Cojedes

During the activity, the participants received free general consultations, height and weight control, blood pressure measurements, ultrasound and mammograms, among other essential services for prevention and timely diagnosis

As part of the Pink Month, dedicated to the fight against breast cancer, more than 40 women from the state of Cojedes received medical assistance during a comprehensive care day held at the “María Teresa del Toro Alaiza” Unit, located in the state's High Technology Center.

During the activity, the participants received free general consultations, height and weight control, blood pressure measurements, ultrasound and mammograms, among other essential services for prevention and timely diagnosis.

The Minister of Popular Power for Health, Magaly Gutiérrez, highlighted on her Telegram channel that “these days are part of the social policies promoted by President Nicolás Maduro, who guarantees the health care of our women with free, specialized and humanistic care”.

The initiative is part of the national implementation of preventive actions that promote the well-being of Venezuelan women, reaffirming the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to life, health and equality.
