More than 4,000 indigenous people from Monagas benefited from a day of comprehensive care

More than 4,000 inhabitants of the indigenous communes of Wana del Sur, Ojirujana del Sur, Morichal Yabinoco del Sur, Dauwaja del Sur and Esperanza del Sur, in the state of Monagas, benefited from a day of comprehensive care.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Health, specialized medical services were offered during the operation, specialized medical services in pediatrics, general and internal medicine, cardiology, ophthalmology, optometry, immunization, height and weight control.

In addition, the original inhabitants were able to process the road medical certificate, barbershop service, hairdresser, face painting, recreational activities, civil registration and updating of documents.

Also, on the day framed in the commemoration of the Day of Indigenous Resistance, food, medicines, lenses and baskets were delivered to the beneficiary families.
