More than 570 Miranda students participate in eviction drills

More than 579 students participated in eviction drills in the face of an earthquake, organized by the General Directorate of Prevention and Community Action of the Guaicaipura municipality , Miranda state.

“We are completing the third transformation in Security and Defense. The team provides students, teachers and administrators with action protocols before, during and after an earthquake,” said Germán Reques, director of the institution.

He also added that this action responds to the instructions of President Nicolás Maduro and Mayor Farith Fraija, “with the objective of strengthening the response capacities of the school community.”

In this regard, it became known that in Los Teques, 216 students from the U.E. Buenos Aires were trained and drills were carried out at the U.E. Alberto Ravell and at the C.E.I.E. World of Rotary.

In the Altagracia de La Montaña parish, where the EU Juana Ramírez La Avanzadora (44 beneficiaries), the EU Eulalia Buroz (65 beneficiaries) and the EU Ana María de Campos y Cubillan (75 beneficiaries) were treated.

“While in San Pedro Parish, training was carried out at the U.E. Bolívar Libertador. With these actions, Guaicaipura Civil Protection ensures that the school community is prepared to act safely and efficiently in the face of an earthquake emergency,” the newspaper Última Noticias reported.
