More than 70% of Venezuelans support that political leaders who called for sanctions be tried

According to the Country Monitor survey by the company Hinterlaces, more than 70% of Venezuelans support that political leaders who requested unilateral coercive measures, economic blockades and promoted the looting of the country's wealth be brought to justice.

“Do you think that political leaders who called for sanctions against the country, blockade and freezing of Venezuela's resources abroad should be tried?” , was the question to which 72% of the respondents expressed their support for the application of legal judgments against party leaders.

19% of the people consulted answered the question negatively, while 9% did not know what to answer or abstained from doing so.

The research was conducted in homes across the country, with a sample of 1,200 participants comprised of 18% of strata A, B and C; and 82% of strata D and E.
