MP will charge teenager for hate speech

The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, reported that after the request of the Public Ministry (MP), 16-year-old teenagers were arrested for hate speech crimes.

According to information issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office, the adolescent will be charged by the National Attorney's Office 79 for hate speech crimes: “The 16-year-old adolescent A.A.P, who through her social network TikTok #viralizó deliberately offenses that criminally exalted the death of an older adult: whoever was the mother of an influencer and who in the past few days had died of cancer”.

It was also known that the measure of deprivation of liberty will be requested in a rehabilitation center for adolescents, so that the crime does not go unpunished.
