MPPEE develops technical committee to optimize National Electric System

With the firm intention of continuing with the optimization of the National Electricity System (SEN), strategies and work methodologies are discussed in the Technical Committee for Analysis and Decision-making of the National Electricity Corporation (CORPOELEC).

The conference, which takes place in the Hugo Chávez room at the headquarters of the Ministry of Popular Power for Electric Energy, in Caracas, is led by the head of the ministerial portfolio, Jorge Márquez, and is focused on adjusting the necessary strategies to consolidate continuous improvements in the provision of electricity service.

This body, in which the president of the corporation, José Luis Betancourt, and those responsible for the core areas of the state power company also participate, periodically reviews the progress planned to guarantee the quality of the electricity system to the Venezuelan population.

This working meeting responds to the guidelines of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, to maintain constant planning for the maintenance and revision of the National Electricity System, details a press release from the ministry.
