In order to benefit the Venezuelan people through the Hearing More Plan, 68 hearing aids were delivered to 34 patients in the Carayaca parish in the state of La Guaira.

The event took place at the local Civil Headquarters, where people with hearing disabilities who requested the device through the VenApp were treated through the 1×10 Good Governance program. Each hearing device delivered, which costs between $1,500 and $2,500 in the market, was provided free of charge.

“This initiative is aimed at improving the quality of life of people with mild, moderate and severe hearing impairment, with the intention of promoting social inclusion, one of the main flags of the Government of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, the Minister of Popular Power for Health (MPPS), Magaly Gutiérrez Viña and the governor, José Alejandro Terán,” said Nelare Bermúdez, the state's sole health authority, quoted in a regional press release.
