Nahum Fernández: 70% of schools in Antímano have been recovered

More than 70% of the educational units in the Antímano parish have been recovered, said the Head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández.

“Our goal is to guarantee optimal spaces that promote quality education, thus ensuring a promising future for our children in the Homeland,” Fernández said in a message posted on his Instagram account.

In this regard, he reported on the delivery, fully rehabilitated, of the Gran Cacique Tamanaco Educational Unit and the Julio Miranda Early Childhood Education Center, in the San José de Carapita sector.

“In both schools, various recovery tasks have been carried out, including waterproofing, general painting, replacement of pipes, recovery and repair of bathrooms, expansion of spaces for the incorporation of new rooms, construction of a kitchen, as well as a comprehensive intervention of internal and external areas, in addition to the provision of furniture,” he said.
