This Wednesday afternoon, the vice-president of Mobilization and Events of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nahum Fernández, detailed part of the calamities that the Palestinian people are going through, caused by the genocide being committed by the Israeli government in the Middle East, which is exterminating its inhabitants, mainly girls and boys. He assured that what is happening in Palestine is a geographical and economic conflict.

This was stated during a mobilization held in the center of Caracas in solidarity with the people of Gaza.

“We are in an anti-imperialist forum to talk about Palestine. We who are in a free country know what the North American and imperialist empire is capable of doing against a people,” he said.

In that sense, he pointed out that Zionism attacks Peoples and wants to seize their wealth and territory. “The conflict that Palestine is experiencing is historic and that is why in every square of the country we are talking about it to inform our people. More than 50,000 children have been killed and continue.”

He noted that “when the Peoples speak and unite to lift the lie, the curtain falls on them, that is why it is important to inform our people”, while at the same time he denounced the capitalist strategy of US imperialism to impose a blockade against Palestine to prevent food from entering that country, and to generate death by hunger, mainly among infants.

He also stressed that Venezuela is the guarantor of freedom and of the struggle for free peoples, remaining in the streets to raise its voice not only in the face of Israel's genocide against Gaza, but also in defense of the national sovereignty of Venezuelans, always attacked by foreign powers. He noted that “Commander Hugo Chávez promoted peace in the Palestinian territory and its freedom and we will continue.”
