National and international artists visit training institutions in Caracas

National and international artists, who participate in the VI Biennial of the South: Peoples in Resistance, took a tour of important training institutions in Caracas.
Among the institutions visited was the José Ignacio Cabrujas Educational Complex, where they were received by the director of the campus, Aminta Rosales, accompanied by the director of the Arts Department for Yarts Communities, Evelio Salcedo.
During the tour, the artists of the Biennial interacted with boys, girls and teenagers from different academic levels, who offered musical performances to show their talent in singing and playing instruments.
Subsequently, the delegation was received at the Caño Amarillo headquarters of the National Experimental University of the Arts (UNEARTE) by a large group of students, dean Juan Carlos Lugo and academic director Yllen Piña; who participated in a discussion, which was attended by Vladimir Potapov, Lisbeth Vásquez, Edus Simõne, Nyambo Masamara, Leonor Basalo, Lisvany García, Elena Sharganova, Marisa Raygoza, Oslyn Toscano and Ana Miguel.
Mexican artist Oslyn Toscano highlighted the importance of exchange: “I have enriched my creative language since I arrived, and I am eager to capture everything I have experienced during this visit.”
For his part, teacher Joel Pacheco, winner of the National Culture Award 2023-2024, said he was excited to share with the students. “You have everything: your whole and pure soul, the colors, the lines, the textures and, above all, for your hearts. This country needs their capacity, and it's important that they keep the university up.”
The participants of the Biennial extended a cordial invitation to students to visit the VI Bienal del Sur: Peoples in Resistance, which is currently on display at the Museum of Fine Arts (MBA).
