National Craft Fair will be open until December 11 at the GAN

The 6th National Craft Fair opened
its doors to the public until December 11, from 10:00 a.m. to
8:00 p.m., at the National Art Gallery (GAN), in Caracas, according to
Aracelis García, president of the Red Arte Foundation.
He also indicated that, during these days,
visitors will be able to enjoy 131 academic, recreational and
technical activities, together with the exhibition of pieces created by 150 artisans and artisans
from all over the country, according to information from the Ministry for Culture.
The inauguration of this
space was led by the Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto
Villegas, who toured the exhibition stands and highlighted the value of this
exhibition as an expression of Venezuelan cultural diversity.
“This is an initiative that
brings together artisans from all over Venezuela and offers a substantial sample of our artisanal
production,” he said, inviting the public to find “that
special detail” this Christmas season.
The event, promoted by the Great Viva Venezuela Mission and the Artisan Heart Movement, includes educational lathe and loom workshops aimed especially at children and young people, as well as the “Disconnect Digitally” marathon, a proposal that seeks to bring new generations closer to traditional crafts and strengthen a sustainable cultural economy.
