National deployment of the Josefa Joaquina Sánchez Movement empowers women

The Josefa Joaquina Sánchez Movement of Movements , a unified platform for women's struggle in Venezuela, began a national deployment to publicize the actions and challenges faced by the organization, as stated by Jhoanna Carrillo, head of the Ministry of Popular Power for Women and Gender Equality (MinMujer).

She also stated that as part of the National Meeting that was recently held in the city of Caracas, the national promotion team of women leaders assumed the mentorship of each state to hold meetings in the regions and connect via videoconference with all the communal circuits and communes of each of the states, to publicize the agreements during the day.

On the other hand, she indicated that as part of the celebration for International Women's Day, “we are preparing to do the full exercise, participatory and with collective leadership, so that the Josefa Joaquina Sánchez Movement of Movements brings together the largest number of territorial, sectorial and movement organizations, so that the challenges and the struggle of Venezuelan women are the struggle of everyone.”

For her part, the national director of the Rivas Mission, Commander Inés, of the Josefa Joaquina Sánchez Movement and spokesperson for the National Promoting and Guidance Team, Dayana Martínez, added that this weekend they held a meeting with the various women who live in the state of Mérida in the 23 municipalities.
