According to the Ministry of Interior Relations, Justice and Peace (MPPRIJP), its objective is to coordinate preventive actions before the arrival of this weather event.

“All this that we have been developing is so that our population is informed of what is coming and what we must do to be able to pass the El Niño phenomenon, this weather event, in the best possible way,” he said.

Finally, he stressed that this is not the first time that the El Niño phenomenon has arrived in Venezuela, the last one was in 2023, “well that also helps that the actions we are taking are to improve the quality of life of Venezuelans. These meetings serve and motivate us to make this analysis of what is coming, how long it will take, according to the El Niño forecast, the temporality, but also the most important thing are the actions to be followed in the preventive part of preparation and mitigation.”
