National government activates Operation Rain to mitigate forest fires in Aragua

The Bolivarian Government launched Operation Rain in the mountains of Henri Pittier National Park, Aragua state, specifically in the area of La Placera and Paseo El Limón to mitigate forest fires.

During the action, more than 100 officials used more than five thousand liters of water to put out the forest fire.

The information, published on the web portal of the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism, in which he detailed that the municipalities most affected by the fire are El Girardot and Mario Briceño Iragorry.

Forest fire officials, personnel from the National Park Institute (Inparks), Civil Park Guard Corps, Bolivarian National Police (PNB), Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), Aragua Firefighters and Civil Protection (PC), joined together to contain and put out the flames.
