National Government is working on a plan for the care of hospitals in the country

The National Government is working to develop a plan to meet the urgent public service needs of hospitals in the country.
In this regard, according to a press release from the Ministry of Health, the holder of this portfolio, Nuramy Gutierrez, held a meeting with the directors of the prioritized health centers in Caracas, Miranda and La Guaira to evaluate the priorities of care in these spaces.
“The evaluation of three main hospitals in Caracas, the Concepción Palacios Maternity Hospital, the Children's Hospital of Caracas and the Domingo Luciani Hospital in El Llanito, has already begun,” he explained while adding that the authorities prioritized nine hospitals in the capital, La Guaira and Miranda, to move progressively to all the states of the country.
“There are about 30 national hospitals, which is where we are going to start this recovery plan. We are talking about roof waterproofing, drinking water supply, electricity supply, elevator repair and all those infrastructure works that are essential for us to undertake in our hospitals as part of their proper functioning,” said the minister.
