National Government provides funding to promote School Feeding Program in La Guaira

More than 30 schools in the state of La Guaira received electrical equipment and supplies to promote the School Feeding Program (PAE).

The activity was attended by the governor of the entity, José Alejandro Terán, the mayor of the Vargas municipality, José Manuel Suárez and national representatives of the PAE.

Terán highlighted that the equipment consisted of appliances such as; cookers, refrigerators, freezers and other kitchen supplies that will be delivered in different similar educational units to strengthen and improve food service for students, according to the local press.

The regional president commented that in addition to the above-mentioned equipment, there is a truck, type Thermo Kings, that will be used to distribute the food necessary to make the service in schools possible and timely.
