National Government replaces bearing rails in Metro Los Teques

This Friday, the Los Teques Metro maintenance team, in Miranda state, began work to prepare, cut and pre-assemble the new bearing rails that will soon be installed on the railroad to ensure quality service.

By means of a press release, the institution explained that the works are being carried out in the Patio de Las Adjuntas, and consist of the adaptation of external bars with a length of 52.70 meters. This is a day of replacing components that have completed their useful life, which are part of the corrective maintenance plan, to optimize the transport service .

With the installation of these new bearing rails, the company intends to eliminate speed restrictions. This will allow trains to run at their optimal pace, as well as reduce waiting times for users on platforms, according to the bulletin.
