“What happened in the city of Valencia, Spain, is a product of the global warming that the extreme right denies in the world,” emphasized the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, who sent his message of solidarity to those affected by this tragedy that has left more than a hundred dead.

During the ceremony of delivery of means and supplies to strengthen the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) and the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), the Fire Department and Civil Protection (PC), the National President lamented the deterioration of relations between the Government of Venezuela and the Spanish government authorities that prevent them from providing support to face the consequences of what happened in Valencia.

He stressed that Venezuela currently has the mechanisms to deal with this type of climate event both in the country and in other nations where support is required.

“We have been perfecting the Civil Protection system and I applaud the Civil Protection system and the Venezuelan Task Force,” he said.
