The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced this Monday the Tasks of Expansion and Consolidation of Communal Power 2026, within the framework of the 13th anniversary of Commander Hugo Chávez's last proclamation, on December 8, 2012.

During a Review of the National System of Popular Government, the Head of State emphasized the importance of “all the processes that have taken place to transform national budgets, state budgets into governorates and municipal budgets”.

He stressed that the process of democratization of the Communes and the Communal Circuits has transformed “the way of acting of the national, state and municipal State. And since last year, the budget has begun to be worked on, to be thought out according to the specific agenda of action of each community.”

In this regard, he reported that this year the budget “social investment is rising to 77% and most of that investment goes directly to the works planned, proposed and decided by the community in direct vote”, in the four popular consultations held in 2025.

“The Communal State is the State of true democracy. The rest is pure lies, the false bourgeois democracy that here must completely disappear from the face of the earth in our beloved country Venezuela,” he said.
