National President approved resources for Petare-Guanoco Asphalt Plan

This Wednesday, December 3rd, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, approved the resources for the Petare-Guanoco Asphalt Plan, “I approve the decree to immediately begin obtaining extensive investment of domestic and international capital, aimed at the production of Guanaco asphalt in the state of Sucre.”

“It is open to national and international investment and I have reserved Lake Guanoco, it is the largest lake in the world, with which Washington, New York, Philadelphia and Chicago paved,” he said.

He specified that “I have set aside 25% of that lake to hand it over to the country's communes and the Petare-Guanoco Plan is running on total asphalt.”

In Petare, Sucre municipality in Miranda state, where he oversaw progress in the consolidation route of the “Comuna Simón Rodríguez” Government, he said that the lake has been recovered with its own capital and technology, “and it is already at one thousand percent. The largest asphalt lake in the world.”
