President Nicolás Maduro, on Monday night, February 24, asked the National Assembly to speed up the approval of the Law Approving the Framework Agreement for Agricultural Cooperation, which was adopted at the XXIV Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP).
In his Con Maduro+ program, he commented that “this law is very important to allow investments that are coming from more than 15 countries, including almost all the ALBA countries,” he said, after stressing that these investments are aimed at “producing food on Venezuelan land.”
He took the opportunity to announce the holding of an agricultural food fair produced in ALBA territory, in Nicaragua, next month at which the country will be present.
