The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, ratified the Venezuelan people, who, as he denounced it on numerous occasions during his electoral campaign for re-election, the extremist right has plans of violence against the country, which is why he never had an interest in the presidential elections.
In this regard, he said that “we said it, it's a topic of great national interest, we didn't want Venezuela to go through these things again. I told him there was a campaign against the country.”
“They carried out a brutal campaign against a part of the population that has relatives abroad,” he said, while noting that the extreme right proposed that if he won the Presidential Election, his relatives would return to the country.
He explained that “there were people who believed it, that is the manipulative power of the cyber coup that they are trying to impose on Venezuela, with criminal violence.”
“They manipulate people's minds based on their desires, because there is a thing called Big Data and they know what people like and don't like,” he said.
This was stated by the head of state in the National Council for the Productive Economy of the Agroindustrial Sector, which was held in the Ezequiel Zamora Hall of the White Palace, where he apologized “forgive me for bringing this topic here, which is purely economic, but I have to say it”.
