On the night of this Sunday, August 25, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, assured that in the country “we have just been victims of a criminal onslaught, a fascist coup to exterminate anyone who thinks differently, to put an end to Chavism.”

In his podcast, he specified that it's about emotions to manage hate. “Fascism attacks and sets mortuary objectives, in other words, what must be destroyed. In Venezuela a hundred years later, we know what we are talking about because we have just been victims, not only of the cyber coup, but of a fascist nature to eliminate those who think differently from fascism and the right.”

He added that “millions were threatened by social leaders in the territory, the street, the community, military sectors, police families through mechanisms typical of fascism to make the threat personally (...) terrorize and therefore paralyze, so that what they have of strength will come over and end everything”.
