The National President, Nicolás Maduro, invited all the women of the country to be sworn in as President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on January 10, 2025.

In that regard, he urged Venezuelan women to accompany him on that date to the Federal Legislative Palace, seat of the National Assembly (AN), to be sworn in as head of state for the next presidential term.

The invitation was formulated at the event he led on the occasion of the celebration of the 1st Anniversary of the Great Venezuela Women's Mission.

“We must involve women in leadership, in participation, in a new leadership. We have a good starting point, we have to continue on that path,” he said.

He recalled that in the fourth Republic he had no opportunities to stand out in various fields, “it was with the arrival of our Commander Hugo Chávez Frías and the Bolivarian Revolution that the issue of women became a central focus of the country's political agenda.”

He pointed out that currently the courageous women of the Bolivarian Government are active in various fields and areas and without mission leaders, communicators and activists of the Revolution.

“It is vital to recover the life, rights, stability and strength of the Venezuelan family; if you talk about the family, you must protect the woman of the Venezuelan family,” he said.
