National President: It is important to change the system to save human life

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, carried out a day of work from the Caricuao Zoological Park in Caracas, where he emphasized that it is “important to change the system to save human life”.

“The world's powerful are only watching their wealth and designing spaceships instead of dedicating that scientific effort and that million dollars to reversing the self-destructive system that capitalism imposed and that contaminated seas, lakes, rivers, destroyed the earth and the balance of the climate,” he explained. He added that we must consider the preservation of nature.

He pointed out that “we have great tasks and missions that only with popular power and environmental movements, green movements of the good world can we pay the debt we owe to nature, reverse processes and mitigate climate changes that threaten our populations and humanity.”
