This Friday, February 16, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reported that the Bolivarian Government aims to achieve, as of this date, in August, the installation of 1,136 Houses of Culture of the Great Mission Viva Venezuela mi Patria Querida.
He indicated that it is a matter of installing “in every parish in Venezuela, at least one House of Culture of the Great Mission Viva Venezuela mi Patria Querida, with its spaces for rehearsals, recording and presentation.”
“This is a strong goal, as the promoting team told me. We are going to do it, if we combine national, regional, state efforts and the efforts of communities and identify in each parish, even if it is one,” he said.
He explained that this initiative is framed in the Fourth Vertex of the Great Mission Viva Venezuela mi Patria Querida, which will be responsible for creating more infrastructures to disseminate culture.
“Just as there are BRICOMILES for education and health, the Military Community Brigades are starting to recover cultural infrastructures in all the parishes of the country,” he announced.
The proposal was made at the Teresa Carreño Theater, during an event, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, on the occasion of the launch of the Great Mission Viva Venezuela mi Patria Querida, Venezuela sings and dances, which will promote policies and the various manifestations of music, singing, rhythms and dance in the country.
For this purpose, he specified that he has given instructions to the Executive Vice Presidency of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, and invited him to provide his support to the country's governors and mayors, “to tie themselves up and commit to grassroots culture.”
